How can I invest in real estate when I don’t have enough money? How can I save for my retirement when I live paycheck to paycheck?


Crowdfunding has become an increasingly common way to raise funds in the technology and media industries, including music, film, and has recently became a source of financing for real estate.


The problem is that real estate crowdfunding is limited mostly to the wealthiest investors, high net worth individuals such as accredited investors earning$250,000 annually or having at least $1,000,000 net worth.

Real estate developers, on the other hand, experience difficulties obtaining funds due to the limited supply of such investors and the high interest on loans from banks.


A majority of people do not have access to real estate investments due to low income.


Then, Why Real Estate vs. Other Investments?

I conducted market research online and through a series of interviews andseminars. As shown in the picture, 25% of interviewees would primarily investin the real estate market as they believe it to be the most profitable optioncompared to alternatives such as stocks or bonds. 75% of surveyed candidatessaid that their monthly income does not allow them to qualify for a mortgage.

is to create an online crowdfunding platform. Such an online market place would bridge the gap between young, unaccredited investors who want to invest in real estate and passive income while providing capital for the developers that need it for their real estate projects.

Crowd funding for real estate therefore addresses two problems: the inability for low-income individuals to participate in the real estate market, and the complex process for obtaining the capital required for real estate development.


This technology would allow real estate developers to access an alternative source of money and unaccredited investors to enter the market with a minimum amount of money ($1,000 to $5,000).


Technology offers virtual dashboards allowing investors to monitor their investments on a day-to-day basis with the following brand potential:

• Resources: Users will have an option to access figures on the real estate market at all times and share knowledge with other stakeholders. Users will always have access to up-to-date information on real estate trends and features.

• Security: Registration of technology through the Ontario Security Commission. The Ontario Security Commission is responsible for conducting background checks on developers, and implementing security measures required to safeguard investors’ personal information.

• Transparency: Investors are able to choose the exact property they want to invest in.

Furthermore, investors will be introduced to the full user/sales agreement which defines all consents, obligations, and privileges for both, investors, and developers.The technology makes the investment process streamlined.To learn more about this technology, please watch this video
